Warning About Fake Copies of Our Shop
Last updated: 9 August 2026
We have become aware of several websites that have copied our shop in its entirety. They use our name, our logo, our product photos and our texts. Two of them even carry the name Marcellus in their web address. They are not operated by us, and anyone who orders there receives no goods.
Our only sales address
marcellusonlineshop.de
We do not operate any other online shop, neither under a different name nor at a different address. If you come across an advert or a link that takes you anywhere else, please do not follow it.
The sites we know of
- marvibe.shop
- marcellusbookworld.shop
- marcellusspace.shop
Please do not visit these sites, and under no circumstances enter any payment details there. Further copies may exist that we do not yet know of. The rule above therefore always applies: we sell exclusively through marcellusonlineshop.de.
How to recognise the fakes
Prices there are shown in US dollars and, with blanket discounts of around 65 per cent, are far below ours. There is no legal notice (Impressum), nor any information about the seller. The supposed customer reviews praise shirts, dresses, floor lamps and bed linen – goods that nobody there offers.
With us you will always find prices in euros, a complete legal notice and clear information on shipping and withdrawal.
If you have already ordered there
Please contact your bank or payment provider immediately and have the payment reversed.
Please also report the matter to the police. In Germany, the police online stations (Onlinewachen) accept reports via the internet.
If you created a customer account there and chose a password that you also use elsewhere, change it everywhere.
What we are doing
We have informed the competent authorities and are working with legal counsel to have the sites taken down. We keep this page up to date.
If in doubt, ask us
If you are unsure whether a message, an advert or a website really comes from us, simply write to us. We will look into it and reply to you. The same applies to enquiries about custom-made pieces, which reach us at any time as usual.
Your trust is the foundation of our work, and we want to see it protected.
May God reward you.
