Crosses & Crucifixes

A cross on the wall is not an ornament. It shows whose house you are entering.

We carry two lines. The Siena wall crosses are hand-carved in Italy from limewood and painted in colour in the Siena style, available in 28 and 45 cm, in plain and in baroque versions. Alongside these are wooden wall crucifixes with a hand-painted resin corpus in 35 and 55 cm.

With the hand-carved crosses, the grain of the limewood makes every piece unique. With the crucifixes, the detail of the corpus extends to the facial features.

The smaller sizes suit bedrooms, hallways and children's rooms, the larger ones living rooms and home altars. A cross is a customary gift for a wedding or a move into a new home.
