This handcrafted rosary is made of high-quality sandalwood with a pleasantly smooth surface and natural grain. Sandalwood feels pleasantly smooth and warm in the hand. It sits lightly yet firmly between the fingers. The beads are strung on a sturdy cord in a soft bronze tone, which harmoniously matches the color of the metal parts.

Sandalwood changes its color in a unique way depending on the lighting conditions. When exposed to sunlight, it takes on a greenish hue. However, when protected from light, it returns to its original brown color.

Sandalwood has a very special, warm, and slightly sweet scent. This is due to the natural oils in the wood, especially santalol. The scent lasts for a long time and hardly changes, even after many hours.

The cross of this rosary is a Pardon Crucifix. The Pardon Crucifix was introduced by Pope Pius X in 1905. It bears the words "Father, forgive them" and is a symbol of forgiveness and mercy.
