Combat Rosary Soldiers Edition – Historical Replica from the First World War
The Combat Rosary "Soldiers Edition" is a high-quality replica of the military rosary worn by Catholic soldiers in the United States during World War I. This rosary is distinguished by its robust construction and practical handling—features that make it particularly suitable for use under demanding conditions.
Historical origins and ecclesiastical recognition
The origins of this rosary date back to the time of World War I. It was issued in large numbers to Catholic soldiers in the US armed forces. Due to its simple yet functional design, it was later also recommended by various church authorities.
Pope St. Pius X , who strongly advocated for the spread of the Rosary, recognized early on the importance of the Rosary as a spiritual tool, even in the military context. Even today, this rosary is worn by members of the Pontifical Swiss Guard and is popular with many reservists and members of veterans' associations.
Material and workmanship
The rosary is made of solid copper and finished with an environmentally friendly silver electroplating. The ball chain, as used in military equipment, is particularly durable and can withstand even intensive use.
The Combat Rosary "Soldiers Edition" represents spiritual steadfastness, tradition, and the connection between faith and history. Its use by soldiers, guardsmen, and reservists underscores its special significance as a symbol of prayer in special life situations.
The Pardon Crucifix was introduced by Pope Pius X in 1905. It bears the words "Father, forgive them" and is a symbol of forgiveness and mercy.
We place great importance on quality and attention to detail. Each of our designs is created with care and dedication. Our goal in designing this rosary was to create a rosary that is both stylish and practical.
Remember to have your rosary and devotional item(s) blessed by a priest before use.
