Don Bosco (1815–1888) was a priest, educator, and founder of the Salesians. He dedicated his life to the education and guidance of young people, especially the poor and those at risk. He relied on faith, love, and reason as the foundation of his educational approach and founded schools, workshops, and youth centers to give children and young people a sense of purpose.
Thanks to his deep spirituality, his commitment to young people, and his closeness to those in need, Don Bosco is still regarded today as a role model for Christian education and social responsibility.
